Beware Toys are a UK start up company who position themselves as an expert retailler in toys, games and gadgets. With a focus on Action figures and urban art toys they often target nitch customers aged between 12 - 25.
The brief for this project was to take on a full marketing consultancy role, as the company looked to build on the foothold in the market they had gained through eBay. We were tasked with creating a webstore without breaking the bank which would allow them to monitor and manage stock efficiently.
Beware Toys also wanted to compete on search terms for their nitch product ranges, and required the website to be fully search engine optimised, with Bluerose Marketing handling numerous Pay Per Click campaigns over a six month trial period.
Over the first month on the project we set up the webstore, uploaded the product range and optimised the search around the initial load of products. We wrote up some product reviews and launched the site late June 2009 with a full back office system including invoicing and stock management features.
We then set up numerous PPC campaigns which delivered an additional 100 unique visits per month.
To support the launch we uploaded our clients email contacts lists and developed a series of launch emails promoting the product range and upcoming products. We tied all promotional activity into numerous social media websites, drawing significant hits from twitter and facebook.
We even went that extra mile for our clients and worked with their existing suppliers on co-marketing material and special product promotions to help launch the new website.
